Duck Hunting Baffin Bay’s Shorelines
With 14 species of wild duck visiting annually, Baffin Bay is a duck hunter’s dream! Endless shoreline and prime habitat make for the ability to shoot duck from secluded shoreline blinds and “limit” on most days!
Dove Hunting Local Fields
With close proximity to a number of cultivated grain fields, watering holes and brush – Texas dove hunts couldn’t take place in more optimal setting. A deep Texas tradition and a rite of passage for youngsters, an afternoon spent shooting dove is just what you do in these parts!
The Weather on Baffin Bay
The weather in the area surrounding Baffin Bay can be described as simiarid, subhumid or subtropical – with quite warm temperatures in the summer months. Winters are fairly mild, but be prepared for cool mornings and evenings with pleasant day time temperatures.
Rainfall varies each year, however close proximity to the Gulf of Mexico brings the possibility of seasonal hurricanes and tropical storms. Both can greatly enhance rainfall potentials and water levels in the Bay.
